From the Beginning.

Tri Gas & Oil began in the poultry industry in 1946 with the McMahan Poultry Company started by Lee D. McMahan. In the early 1950s, Mr. Lee acquired a used oil truck to deliver fuel to his own poultry houses. Soon thereafter, he began delivering to neighboring poultry farmers on Maryland’s Eastern Shore that wanted to benefit from the fuel delivery service.

For over 50 years, Tri Gas & Oil has been serving customers in Maryland and Delaware with a full range of fuel products and appliances. Our company is still owned and operated by the McMahan family. We have expanded our services over the years, but we are still rooted in poultry and agriculture. We’ve grown with you.
